Product warranty
Warranty Policy (Basic)
- The warranty period is one year from the product delivery date. Upon receiving the product, please promptly check for any missing items, specification discrepancies, or damages. If you notice any defects or issues, please contact us immediately.
- This warranty applies only to products that have been installed and used correctly, following safety guidelines and instructions. Any damages resulting from improper installation, incorrect usage, or unsuitable environments (e.g., bathhouses, saunas) are not covered by this warranty. Additionally, any deformation, damage, or discoloration due to material characteristics, fire, human error, accidents, or natural disasters are also excluded from the warranty coverage, even within the warranty period.
- Any damage, paint peeling, or scratches caused during installation are not covered under this warranty.
- Products manufactured based on customer-provided specifications (supplied data) are not covered under warranty if defects are due to design flaws, even within the warranty period. This includes products for which we obtained prior customer approval regarding safety and durability.
- We designate specific products for indoor or outdoor use. Products designed for indoor use must only be used indoors.
- This warranty primarily covers replacement of defective products or free repairs. It does not include additional costs such as installation fees, business closure compensation, profit loss coverage, or scaffolding expenses at the installation site.
- To claim warranty service, customers may be required to provide the warranty certificate, photos showing the defect, and documentation proving our responsibility for the defect. Warranty service may be exchanging the defective product with a replacement depending on the condition of the product.
- Any additional warranty provisions will comply with the specific warranty terms for each product.
Product-Specific Warranty
Metal Channels
- Rusting of metal components, including stainless steel, and discoloration, deterioration, or verdigris formation on copper or brass products are not covered under this warranty.
Resin Products
- Discoloration or deterioration due to chemical exposure, including paint finishes with organic solvents such as clear coatings, is not covered under this warranty.
LED Channel
- Malfunctions or damage caused by abnormalities in the primary power supply, or the use of non-specified power sources (incorrect voltage or frequency), are not covered under this warranty.
- Failures or damage due to wiring errors, installation mistakes, or poor electrical contact are not covered under this warranty. Never connect AC 100V directly, as it will cause complete LED failure. Do not pull excessively on wires extending from the product, as this may cause disconnection. Any damage resulting from such handling is not covered under this warranty.
- Color inconsistency due to LED characteristics and brightness changes due to aging are not covered under this warranty.
- Damage or failure caused by modifications, disassembly, or unauthorized repairs are not covered under this warranty.
- Malfunctions or damage caused by the removal of supplied parts or the integration of third-party components are not covered under this warranty.
- Damage or malfunctions resulting from relocation, including falls, vibrations, or dust exposure during transportation, are not covered under this warranty.
- Damage caused by installation in an environment exceeding 65°C is not covered under this warranty.
- Damage resulting from natural disasters, such as fires, earthquakes, lightning strikes, floods, or abnormal voltage fluctuations, is not covered under this warranty.
- Damage caused by usage outside of Japan is not covered under this warranty.
Product Maintenance
Our products are designed with durability and aesthetic longevity in mind. We carefully select materials and manufacture under strict quality control. However, aging of materials, air pollution, and acid rain can significantly affect discoloration, rust, and corrosion. To maintain the beauty and functionality of our products for an extended period, please follow the correct installation methods and perform regular maintenance as outlined below.
Basic Maintenance Guidelines
- Do not use metal polishes unless specifically instructed.
- Do not use organic solvents such as thinner, alcohol, lacquer, or strong acidic/alkaline detergents, as they may damage the product’s surface and labels.
- Do not use abrasive sponges, hard cloths, or any materials that may scratch the surface.
Metal Product Cleaning Instructions (General)
- Water Rinse
Remove dust and dirt from the surface by rinsing with water.
Use a soft cloth or wiper soaked in water to gently wipe off dirt without scratching the surface. If stains are persistent, dilute a small amount of neutral detergent in water and use it with caution. Be careful when using sponges, as some types may scratch the surface.”
- Dry Wiping
After cleaning, wipe dry with a soft, dry cloth to prevent water stains or streaks.
Product-Specific Maintenance
Stainless Steel Products
Our stainless steel products use SUS304, a widely used austenitic stainless steel known for its corrosion resistance, toughness, ductility, workability, and weldability. The available finishes include hairline, mirror, bead blast, permanent hairline, and colored stainless steel. In most cases, these surfaces are not coated with a topcoat, but some may have plating, paint, or cutting sheet finishes. (For products with topcoats finish, please refer to the maintenance instructions for copper and brass products.)
Hairline Finish (Regular Water Rinse and Dry Wipe)
- Abrasives
For tough stains, use a fine abrasive sponge to wipe away the dirt. When cleaning a hairline finish, wipe along the grain direction to avoid scratches.
*Do not use abrasive cleaning agents on mirror-finish stainless steel, as it will cause visible scratches.
Copper & Brass Products (Regular Water Rinse, Dry Wipe, and Waxing)
Copper and brass alloys are highly reactive with compounds in the air, which is why most of these products are coated with a clear topcoat to prevent oxidation.
- Waxing
Every three months, soak a small amount of metal wax into a cloth and wipe the surface. Then, clean it with a soft cloth to enhance its shine. Do not use wax containing abrasives.
Acrylic Products (Regular Water Rinse and Dry Wipe)
Flat transparent acrylic resin sheets are materials that easily show scratches. Additionally, they tend to accumulate dust and fingerprints, so regular cleaning is recommended.
- Water Rinse
Rinse off any dust or dirt attached to the product. Use a soft cloth or wiper soaked in water to gently wipe off the dirt without scratching the surface. If the dirt is noticeable, dilute a small amount of neutral detergent in water and use it. (Be careful, as some sponges may scratch the product.)
*Caution: Acrylic resin sheets are flammable. Keep them away from fire.
*Caution: Avoid using the product in places exposed to direct sunlight, hot air, or excessive humidity, as these conditions may cause warping, resin degradation, reduced strength, or weakened adhesion points.
Maintenance Guidelines
Even stainless steel and aluminum products, which are resistant to rust, can corrode due to airborne soot, metal particles, salt, and sulfur dioxide gas. Regular water rinsing and dry wiping can help reduce the effects of environmental corrosion. In areas such as under eaves where rainwater does not naturally wash the surface, coastal regions with high exposure to airborne salt, industrial areas with heavy iron dust or soot, railway zones with exposure to fine metal particles, and urban areas with heavy traffic emissions, more frequent cleaning is recommended.
